Who we are

Project Eleven is an applied lab of builders and technologists at the intersection of quantum computing and cryptography, formed in 2024 to help secure digital financial infrastructure for a post-quantum world.

We’re on a mission to defend foundational systems like Bitcoin from the coming impact of cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQCs), and to help shape the next era of digital communication built on quantum-native primitives.

We’re looking for someone who can help us tell that story.

The Role

We’re hiring a Social Media Marketing Lead to take ownership of our digital voice and help grow Project Eleven’s presence across Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Bluesky, Farcaster, Nostr, and other channels.

You’ll lead end-to-end: from strategy to execution — collaborating directly with engineers & physicists into concise, compelling content that moves fast and resonates deeply with developers, researchers, policymakers, and crypto-native audiences.

This is a foundational role. You’ll help define how the world comes to understand the post-quantum threat — and opportunity.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Creativity first. You love simplifying the complex to tell an engaging story that captures/keeps the attention of audiences
• Technical curiosity. You don’t need to be a cryptographer or quantum physicist (yet), but you’re excited to learn. If you’ve ever tried to explain Schrödingers cat at a party, that’s a plus.
• Strong communicator. You have excellent written and visual storytelling skills. You know how to build a narrative — and a following.
• You move fast. You’re proactive, responsive, and comfortable in early-stage environments where speed of iteration matters more than polish.
• You care about the mission. You believe in the promise of technology generally to make the world a better place.

💥 Responsibilities

• Build and execute our social media strategy across platforms (X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Farcaster, Nostr)
• Draft, edit, and post high-quality content (threads, memes, videos, explainers, etc.)
• Work with our technical team to distill and translate complex topics
• Own analytics and iterate based on what’s working
• Grow and engage our audience authenticall
• Help shape the narrative for post-quantum security, starting with Bitcoin

🛠 Bonus

• Experience with or interest in cryptography, quantum computing, or blockchain
• Design/video editing skills (Figma, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Experience working with founders or early-stage startups
• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Substack, Revue, or other newsletter tools

🌍 Location

Remote-friendly. Time zones between PT and CET preferred.
