Who we are

Project Eleven is an applied lab of builders and technologists at the intersection of quantum computing and cryptography, formed in 2024 to help secure digital financial infrastructure for a post-quantum world.

We’re on a mission to defend foundational systems like Bitcoin from the coming impact of cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQCs), and to help shape the next era of digital communication built on quantum-native primitives.

We’re looking for someone who can help us build that future.

The Role

We’re hiring a Fullstack Engineer to help us build the future of post-quantum security. You’ll be one of the first engineers and help shape core systems from day one. You’ll own features end-to-end: designing APIs, building UI components, writing CLI tools, and backend services. You’ll work closely with the founders to set technical direction, define best practices, and ship high-qualuty features.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong coding fundamentals in TypeScript, Rust, or a similar language.
• Experience building full-stack applications—frontend, backend, or CLIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Willingness to learn & adapt to new technologies on the fly.
• Interest in cryptography and post-quantum security.
• Clear, logical thinker who can take an idea from concept to production.

💥 Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy features across web clients, CLIs, and backend services.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript and Rust code.
• Define and maintain data models in MongoDB or similar stores.
• Collaborate on API design, documentation, and code reviews.
• Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve deployment pipelines.

• Prior startup work.

🌍 Location

Remote-friendly. Time zones between ET and CET preferred.
